Cease Resistance

During World War II, three Japanese holdouts who have been living on a remote Pacific island for years are now faced with a choice when they receive news that the War is over. Private Ito is happy at the news, but his commanding officer, Lt. Takeda, believes the news to be an American trick, attempting to lure them out from hiding, and demands that they continue living on the island. This film is inspired by true events, in which Japanese soldiers held out on islands for several years, even decades, after World War II had ended.
