The Life of Despised Matsuko

The Life of Despised Matsuko (2006) is a drama, mystery series directed by Takeyoshi Yamamoto, Hori Hideki, Masahiro Sakai.

Matsuko, in her 20s, is fired as a teacher and degenerates from an elite to a “Soap Lady.” Through her history of affairs with men, she kills her pimp and ends up in prison. Despite her rough lifex struck by terrible misfortunes, she does not stop loving some one and keeps her dreams until the very end. This drama depicts Matsuko’s stormy life as she deals with it head-on.
