
Mia Kidis
Biography
Mia Kidis is an Australian artist and filmmaker based in Sydney, working in experimental video, music videos and photography. She wrote and directed the video for BattleSnake's "Motorsteeple", which screened at SXSW Sydney in 2024. Her video work has also been exhibited as installation, including the nine-film loop Crazywood, and in 2025 she created a projection onto the Ace Hotel in Surry Hills for Sydney's Vivid light festival. She works recurrently with the figure of the flâneuse — the wandering urban observer — and with themes of surveillance and voyeurism.
