Scott DerricksonĀ (born July 16, 1966) is an American filmmaker. He is known for his work in the horror genre, directing films such asĀ The Exorcism of Emily RoseĀ (2005),Ā SinisterĀ (2012), andĀ The Black PhoneĀ (2021). He is also known for the superhero filmĀ Doctor StrangeĀ (2016) based on theĀ Marvel ComicsĀ character.
