Boni Mata is a Spanish-American writer, actor, and director. She grew up between California and Mallorca, Spain. Boni graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley and went on to study literature, critical theory, and philosophy at the University of Cambridge, UK and Université de Bordeaux III. Boni lives in her birthplace of Los Angeles, California.
