Biography
Anna Liina Laitinen is a Finnish professional rock climber who began climbing in 2007 after a background in gymnastics and a long fascination with mountains. Despite limited access to climbing in Finland at the time, she quickly progressed through strong motivation and community support, going on to win national competitions and establish herself among Finland’s top climbers. She has primarily focused on sport climbing and bouldering, building a professional career while navigating repeated injuries that reshaped her relationship with competition and expectations. Today, she continues to climb at a high level, driven by a lifelong commitment to the sport and growing interest in route development, first ascents, and traditional climbing.
