Biography

Police officer, body builder, and occasional actor John P. Codiglia was born on June 20, 1946. Codiglia began his career in law enforcement as a patrolman before eventually achieving the rank of sergeant at Manhattan's 17th Precinct and subsequently going on to become a deputy inspector for the New York Police Department. On November 8, 1982 John won a Patrolman's Benevolent Association bodybuilding contest and was named Mr. New York's Finest. Moreover, Codiglia not only placed second in the 1982 New York City Championships, but also appeared in small parts in a few movies. John lived in such places as Jackson Heights, Queens; Wildwood, New Jersey; and Voorhees, New Jersey prior to setting down in Somers, New York.
