Biography
Kjell Stefan Löfven, registered as Löfvén, born on 21 July 1957 in Hägersten Parish in Stockholm, is a Swedish Social Democratic politician who has been the president of the Party of European Socialists since 14 October 2022. Löfven was Prime Minister of Sweden from 2014 to 2021 and the leader of the Social Democratic Party from 27 January 2012 to 4 November 2021. Prior to that, he was a trade union leader and served as president of the trade union IF Metall from 1 January 2006 to 27 January 2012.
