The first part of the story begins when Juan's little daughter (Ethan Wayne), María Bonangelo (Grecia Colmenares), is adopted by the wealthy family of Encarnación and Manuel Olazábal, after the death of their biological mother, Amalia (Amanda Sandrelli ).
